Os grandes candidatos para a 33ª Gala são Adam Sandler (um habitual nestas andanças), Eddie Murphy, Tyler Perry, Saga Twilight: Amanhecer Parte 2 e Batleship, do produtor Michael Bay.
Os vencedores serão conhecidos na véspera da cerimónia dos Óscares, Sábado, 23 de Fevereiro.
