A própria Rhianna Pratchett afirmou via Twitter que não regressará no reboot de Mirror’s Edge para escrever o guião novamente.
De acordo com a argumentista, o enredo foi um dos pontos mais fracos do primeiro jogo – e que ela própria está descontente com o mesmo – e não foi chamada para trabalhar no reboot.
